![]() ![]() Why do I put this second? Paladins are frequently dished on for being sticks-in-the-mud, and being the party's party-pooper, which obviously has consequences for party dynamics/player fun. Do none of them work for you? Is that due to the country you're from (in which case use a VPN maybe), or something else? So that zenith guides page has a lot of links to guides for Paladins. You infuse the crystal with your LoH and it keeps the charge for 24hours netting you some extra uses for the next day) ![]() Some great item choices for this build are: Bracers of the Mercyful Knight (+4 effective paladin level for LoH so +2d6 to heal and +2 uses/day) Phylactery of Positive Energy (+2d6 healing on both of your Channel Energy pools) Meditation Crystals (Lets you bring unused Loh uses to the next day. The rest of the feats are more general melee combatant type feats (Power Attack, Imp Crit, Weapon Focus etc) Key feats for this build are Fey Foundling (+2 hp per dice of healing received) Extra Lay on Hands (+2 LoH/day) and Great Mercy (conditional extra 1d6 healing from LoH). For Traits i went with Magical Knack (Oracle) to help keep my buffs up longer. I also took the Warrior of the Holy Light archtype for extra Lay on Hands uses and for the group buffs it provides. This Channel pool will not progress past your Oracle level but with a Phylactery of Positive Energy it can still be useful for topping off outside of battle.įor the Paladin side I chose the Hospitalier archtype to get a seperate pool of Channel Energy that doesn't rely on my Lay on Hands uses/day. The Curse I chose was the Plagued curse because since I am a Paladin, I am immune to Diseases anyway The first Revelation was Life Link and the second was Channel Energy. Lifelink requires one level in Oracle for each target you are linked to, I had 3 targets but I decided to go to Level 4 in Oracle to have access to the level 2 spells, but you should go at least level 3 in Oracle for the second Revelation. You could play a sword/board type for extra tankyness. The concept was to play a hard hitting 2H Falchion wielding Paladin that at the same time was able to keep granular healing across the whole party by donating my hitpoints to them and then healing myself as a swift action with Lay on Hands. The most fun Paladin build I played was the Oradin Oracle/Paladin focused on Lay on Hands and healing my whole party through the Life Link ability from the Life Mystery from the Oracle class.
